Hypnotherapy for anxiety and panic in Worksop

Anxiety can affect thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and everyday behaviour. You may find yourself worrying about what could happen, avoiding certain situations, seeking reassurance or feeling unable to switch off. Panic can make those feelings seem immediate and overwhelming.
At Worksop Hypnotherapy Services, I offer calm, confidential, face-to-face support tailored to how anxiety affects you personally.

Understanding your pattern

Before the hypnosis part of the session, we will explore when the anxiety occurs, what you predict or fear, how it feels physically and emotionally, and what you usually do in response. This helps us identify the patterns that may be keeping the problem going and the changes that would be most useful to you.
The aim is not to demand that every anxious feeling disappears. Instead, the work may focus on helping you respond more steadily, reduce unhelpful avoidance and build confidence in your ability to cope.

Hypnotherapy may support you with

Everyday worry and feeling unable to relax

Panic in particular situations

Anticipatory anxiety before events or journeys

Social or performance-related anxiety

Stress-related habits and repetitive thinking

Confidence in responding differently

If you are unsure whether your particular concern is suitable for hypnotherapy, please get in touch for an initial conversation.

What happens during a session?

I will explain hypnosis before we begin and answer any questions. Hypnosis commonly involves focused attention and relaxation while you listen to suggestions and imagery connected with your goals. You remain aware and in control throughout.
Depending on your needs, we may rehearse a more helpful response to a difficult situation, strengthen feelings of steadiness and confidence, or develop a manageable action to practise between sessions. Sessions are adapted to the individual, and results vary from person to person.

Is this suitable for me?

Please contact me if you would like to discuss whether hypnotherapy may be appropriate for your circumstances. Hypnotherapy is complementary support and is not a replacement for medical or psychological assessment or treatment. If your symptoms are severe, worsening or causing concern, please speak with your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
